Jeera rice is the simplest rice preparation/recipe. It is easy to cook and tasty to eat. Whenever I'm inviting friends and don't have much time, then I prepare jeera rice for rice item as it goes well with any gravy.
RECIPE:
Cooking Time: 15-20 mins
Preparation Time: 5-10 mins

Ingredients:
- Basmati rice: 1 cups
- Cumin seeds: 2 tsp
- Bay leaf:1
- Ghee: 2 tbsp
- Water: 2 cups
- Salt to taste
- Heat ghee in a cooker and add cumin seeds and bay leaf.
- When they start spluttering then add rice and fry for min.
- Add 2 cup water and salt.
- Cook rice 2 whistle on medium heat.
