Corn Peas Pulao is a rice preparation where corn and peas are cooked with rice. It is simple, delicious and takes less time.
RECIPE:
Cooking Time: 20-15 mins
Preparation Time: 5-10 mins

Ingredients:
Long grain basmati rice: 1 cup
Green peas: 3/4 cup
Corn: 1/4 cup
Cashew: 10-12 nos
Onion: 1 small(finely chopped)
Ginger garlic paste: 1/4 tsp(optional)
Cumin seed: 1/3 tsp
Clove: 2 nos
Cinnamon stick: 1/2 inch
Black cardamom: 1
Bay Leaf: 1
Ghee
Salt to taste

Method:
- Wash the rice and keep aside.
- Heat 1 tsp ghee and fry cashew for half min then add peas and cook for 2-3 mins.
- Heat ghee in pan and add cumin seed, clove, Cinnamon stick, black cardamom, bay leaf and fry for min then add ginger garlic paste and chopped onion, salt and cook till onion turn light brown in color.Add rice and fry for min. .
- Then add 2 cups of water and cook on medium heat.
- When rice is 90 persent done then add fried cashew, corn and peas and mix well.
- Cover the pan and cook on low heat till rice is done.
- Serve with curry or dal.
Note.
Can also cook rice in rice cooker.
Ginger garlic paste is optional.
