Palak Paneer is a North Indian dish prepared with spinach and paneer. Paneer cubes are cooked in a onion tomato and spinach based gravy which is not very spicy.This dish is mainly served with roti, naan or rice preparation.

Ingredients:
Paneer 200grm/1 cup
Palak/Spinach – 1and 1/2 bunch
Onion 1 small(finely chopped)
Tomato – 1 medium
Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
Green chilli 1-2
Cumin seed 1/4 tsp
Turmeric pwd 1/4 tsp
Chilli pwd: 1/4tsp
Cumin pwd: 1/2 ts
Kitchen king masala: 1/2 tsp
Coriander pwd: 1/2 tsp
Garam masala pwd: 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Cooking oil/butter
Method:
- Heat 1-2 tsp oil in pan and fry paneer for a min and transfer it to hot water (this keeps paneer soft).
- Blanch palak for 4-5 min and then make a paste
- Add butter in kadahi/pan and add cumin seeds and let them splutter. Add the onions and green chillis sauté them till light brown
- Add ginger garlic paste and fry further for 2-3 minutes. Add salt and all dry masala except garam masala and mix well.
- Add the finely chopped tomato and let it cook for 5-6 mim on medium heat. Add the palak paste and again cook it for another 4-5 min.
- Add paneer cubes and mix well. Cook covered on low heat for 2-3 min. Add water and cook on medium heat for 10 min.
- Add garam masala pwd and mix well.6 Reduce flame, and cook for 2 mins.
