Rava dosa is my son's favorite Whenever I prepare rava dosa at home, he use to come with his plate and say " mumma... chutney dosa". Now a days i prepare rava dasa once or twice a week.
RECIPE:
Cooking Time: 5-10 mins
Preparation Time: 15-20 mins

Ingredients:
Rava: 1/2 cup
Rice flour: 1/2 cup
Maida/all purpose flour: 1/4 cup
Ginger: 1 tbsp(finely chopped)
Green chilli; 1(finely chopped)
Black pepper pwd: 1/2 tsp
Jeera: 1 tsp, heaped
Onion: 1 medium(finely chopped)
Coriander leaves: 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
Salt as per taste
Oil/ghee as needed

Method:
- Combine all the ingredients in wide big bowl/vessel except onion.
- Mix the combined ingredients using water. The batter should be very thin of running consistency(like butter milk).
- Heat a griddle/non stick dosa pan( It should be really hot). Drizzle some oil and sprikle chopped onion.
- Now pour the watery batter to form a outer circle and then fill in the centre.
- Add a tsp of oil/ ghee over it.
- Let it cook in medium heat until the dosa turns to a golden brown in colour.
- Serve hot with chutney and sambar.
Note:
Dont cook in high flame, otherwise you may not get the crispy dosa.
