Since many people are liking the Aloo Tikki post so I thought to give aloo tikki a new twist, so I experimented Stuffed aloo Tikki and this turn out to be a good recipe. Stuffed aloo tikki is having a crispy outer layer and peas as stuffing.

For Tikki:
- Potato: 3 large( boiled and grated)
- Cornflour/ corn starch: 2 tbsp
- Chilli flakes: 1-2 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Green Peas: 1/3 cup
- Ginger-garlic: 1 tsp( chopped)
- Green chilli: 1( chopped)
- Cumin seed: 1/4 tsp
- Chaat masala: 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves : 1 tbsp( chopped)
- Oil for deep frying
Method:
- Combine potato, cornflour, salt and chilli flakes and mix well.
- Divide potato dough in equal size ball. Keep aside.
- Heat oil in pan and add cumin seed, when start spluttering add ginger-garlic and green chilli, fry for min.
- Add peas and fry for 1-2 mins, add salt and chaat masala mix well and remove from heat.
- Grind the peas coarsely. Add coriander leaves and mix well.
- Take a potato dough ball and press in center( as shown in pic) and place a portion of stuffing and cover it by pressing/collecting edges at center.
- Heat little oil in pan and shallow fry these stuffed tikki till golden brown in color on medium heat.
- Drain on absorbent paper and serve hot with tomato ketchup.
Note:
If potato dough is sticky then add more cornflour.
