For the Rice ball:
- Rice: 1/2 cup
- Milk: 1/2 liter
- Corn flour: 2-3 tbsp
- Oil/ghee for deep frying
For the Syrup:
- Jaggery: 1 cup
- Water: 2 cup
Method:
For the Rice Ball:
- Wash and pressure cook the rice and milk.
- Once rice is cook then let it cool down. Add corn flour to the rice and mix well.
- Divide the rice dough into lemon size ball.
- Heat sufficient oil in pan/kadai.
- Drop these ball in oil and fry till gloden brown in color on medium heat.
- Once done, take out these ball on paper napkin. keep aside.
For the Jaggery Syrup:
- In the large pan take jaggery and water.
- Bring it to boil and cook for 3-4 mins om medium heat.
- Add the fried rice ball and mix well. Make sure that ball are coated well.
- Serve warm.
Note:
- The rice texture should be of mashy texture.
- If unable to make a ball then add more corn flour.
