This is my another summer special post. Chocolate Mousse has a rich chocolate flavor and a smooth texture. Its really a great dessert option to beat the heat.
RECIPE:

Ingredients:
- Dark Chocolate: 1 cup (chopped)
- Cool whipped cream: 1/2 cup
- Fresh cream: 1/3 cup
For whipped cream:
- Heavy cream: 1/2 cup
- Sugar: 1 tbsp
- Vanilla essence: 1/4 tsp
Method:
For whipped cream:
- Pour the heavy cream into a large bowl.
- Take ice cubes in large bowl and place cream bowl in large bowl.
- Add the sugar, and vanilla extract.
- Whip the mixture together until get soft peaks( as shown in pic).
- Let the whipped cream cool in the fridge for about 15-20 mins.
For Chocolate mousse:
- Melt the dark chocolate in microwave oven at 80% for two minutes .
- Add the fresh cream to the dark chocolate and mix well.
- Add the whipped cream into the dark chocolate mixture and whisk well.
- Transfer mixture into small glass and allow to set in the refrigerator for at least 3-4 hrs.
- Serve chilled.
Note:
- 1/2 cup of cream, will yield 1 cup whipped cream.
- Adding more sugar will fluff up the mixture.
- Can add cream/whipped cream at top for decoration.
