Many people thinks that using paneer we can only make rich gravy so they avoid paneer in day to day meal. Here I'm sharing this recipe to tell those people that paneer can be prepared in simple way same as other veggies. Aloo Mater Paneer gravy goes well with rice, roti or poori.

Ingredients:
- Potato: 1 medium ( boiled and diced)
- Paneer: 8-10 pieces
- Peas: 1/4 cup
- Onion: 2 medium ( finely chopped)
- Ginger-garlic paste: 1 & 1/2 tsp
- Tomato: 1 big( finely chopped/pureed)
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Chilli pwd: 1 tsp
- Coriander pwd: 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala pwd: 1/2 tsp
- Cumin seeds: 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Coriander leaves: few springs
Method:
- Heat the oil in kadai/pan and add jeera. When jeera start splutter then add onion and saute till onion is transparent then add ginger-garlic paste and cook for min or till raw smell leave.
- Add the tomato puree and cook for about 2 mins.
- Add all the dry masala and salt and cook for another 2-3 mins.
- Add the aloo/potato and mix well so that potatoes are well coated with masala.
- Add the paneer,peas and coriander leaves, give it a quick mix.
- Add the little water and bring it to boil.
- Cook for 4-5 mins on low heat with with kadai/pan covered. Turn off the heat .
Note:
- Can shallow fry the paneer before adding.
- can replace boiled potatoes with the shallow fry potatoes.
