Besan ladoo is my favorite from my childhood. I prefer bensan ladoo as compared to any other ladoos. Can make them in bulk and store in air tight container.

Ingredients:
- Besan (Bengal gram flour): 1 Cup
- Powdered sugar: 3/4 Cup
- Ghee: 1/2 Cup
- Cardamom (elaichi) powder: 1/3 tsp
Method:
- Melt the ghee in a kadhai or any heavy bottom pan, add the gram flour and cook over a low flame
- Keep stirring continuously until it turns golden brown in colour.
- Add the cardamom powder and mix well.
- Remove from the heat and pour onto a plate . Cool completely.
- Combine the gram flour mixture and sugar. mix well.
- Divide into equal portions and make ladoos.
Note:
- You can also use the coarsely ground gram flour for this recipe.
- Can dry roast the besan first and then add sugar and ghee to make ladoo.
- Stirring continuously is highly recommended else it burn.
- Can add more or less sugar according to taste.
